Abstract

The theory of personality in integrative therapy is based on the real-explicative level of the tree of science which is the theoretical framework of meta-integration. The development of personality is based on biological dispositions and according to the axioms of co-existence and the theory of intersubjectivity, it continues to develop throughout one’s life in the context of social networks. Personality can be described schematically as inter- and intra-psychical processes of self, ego and identity. The self forms the basis for the personality, which – with the help of the ego – makes itself known through contact with different environments, and forms the five pillars of identity.
